NEA Briefs

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

  • K: The requirements for each of the briefs set by OCR.
  • U: How to approach the chosen brief, including writing the statement of intent.
  • BAT: Choose a brief and start planning what to write in the statement of intent.
  • CO: Use media terminology (all areas of the theoretical framework) in your written and verbal communication.

I am going to choose brief 1 (magazine). This will be directed to an audience within the range of 10-13. The skills I already have to achieve this is the knowledge of various camera shots such as, close-up and head and shoulders. This will help me with my five required photographs in my magazine. A skill I intend to develop in my magazine is the editing of photographs in Photoshop. This will help me with my magazine because I will need to edit my photos, in order to make my media text the best it can possibly be.
